According to a recent report from The Verge, some people who got their hands. On the all-new Apple iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max have discovered a very serious problem.
There are two issues at hand that iPhone 14 Pro users are experiencing. The first shows that the high-end phone’s camera lens seems to be vibrating uncontrollably. So photos and videos become frustratingly blurry as if you’re shaking your hands too much.
Meanwhile, the second problem is a little less difficult. But it is certainly quite dangerous. The Verge reports that some users have shared that their phones were making strange grinding noises while using the camera.
Noise, which is reflected directly from the lens, may seem harmless. However, it sounds very disturbing as it feels like something is breaking inside the iPhone.
iPhone 14 Pro camera bug when using Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat
According to a recent report by 9to5Mac, annoying noises and camera vibrations start. When iPhone 14 users start taking videos and photos on third-party apps. This includes social media platforms with millions of users, such as TikTok, Snapchat, and Instagram.
9to5Mac notes that a Reddit user who owns an iPhone 14 shares that the Apple flagship device’s camera is “shaking uncontrollably” when using Instagram or Snapchat.
The user further notes that this problem is nowhere to be found while using the camera app of the high-end device.
The news outlet added that another user shared that when trying to open Snapchat, “the camera was shaking a lot and made a pretty weird mechanical noise.”
Elsewhere, YouTuber of all things Apple tech, Luke Meaney, also shared his experience on Twitter.
The Apple YouTuber went on to post a video, which you can watch below, showing his iPhone 14 Max’s camera shaking issue when taking photos on Snapchat.
Is there a fix?
As of writing, neither Apple nor third-party apps have publicly addressed the issue.
However, The Verge noted in its report that it looks like the apps in question, TikTok, Instagram, and Snapchat, need to roll out a new update, especially for iPhone 14 Pro models.
